AwareEd is Infosec’s security awareness and training tool that provides learners with training on various cybersecurity topics. Security awareness programs can be complex to manage for organizations of any size, but AwareEd provides a way to automate the delivery, promotion, tracking and reporting of a training program with minimal administrative time required. Here are some of the most common terms you’ll find used relative to AwareEd Campaigns.

Learner | Learners are users added to the Infosec IQ platform to recieve PhishSim or AwareEd training. See Managing Learners for more information. |
Module | A module is a single piece of content, such as a video, viewed by a learner as part of a training course. Infosec IQ includes hundreds of video modules covering a variety of topics and tones to suit different learning styles. |
Assessment | An assessment can also be included in a course as a knowledge check to ensure that learners are engaged. Custom assessments can be created in addition to the pre-built assessments included with Infosec IQ. See Assessments and Question Library for more information. |
Content Library | The content library is where you will find all available modules, assessments, and more. See Content Library for more information. |
Course | A course is a collection of modules and assessments that can be delivered to learners in a campaign. Custom courses can be created in addition to the pre-built courses included with Infosec IQ. See AwareEd Courses for more information. |
Campaign | An AwareEd campaign is used to deliver a training course to learners. Within a campaign you can also define the timeframe, notification schedule, and more. See AwareEd Campaigns for more information. |
New Hire Campaign | New learners added to your Infosec IQ account will automatically get enrolled in any active New Hire campaign. See New Hire Campaigns for more information. |
Notification | AwareEd notifications are emails sent to learners when enrolled in training campaigns, reminding learners to complete assigned training, or when learners complete training. Notifications can also optionally be sent to a learner’s manager. See AwareEd Notifications for more information. |
SCORM as a Service | Infosec IQ modules can be downloaded in a SCORM-compatible package for use in an LMS or other training platform. See SCORM as a Service for more information. |
Publishing Assistant | The Infosec IQ Publishing Assistant allows you to create a custom module from any PDF file. See Publishing Assistant for more information. |
